How we work
The Media Copilot runs an AI-accelerated newsroom with human editorial judgment at the center. We use the tools we cover, and we’re upfront about how. The team is small, remote, and async, which means real autonomy and few meetings. If you like running things and shipping work, you’ll do well here.

Contract, part-time, about 30 hours a month. Fully remote, US-based. $2,000 to $4,000 per month.
Run our editorial operation. Daily content, the newsletter, freelancers, and our service journalism partnership with the Reynolds Journalism Institute.
Freelance Writer, Service Journalism
Freelance, per-piece assignments. Fully remote.
Write how-to guides, hands-on tool evaluations, and case studies on AI in newsrooms, published through our partnership with the Reynolds Journalism Institute.
