What we collect
- Information you provide (e.g., name, email, organization, job title) when you register for memberships, webinars, courses, or contact us.
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers) for security and spam prevention.
Memberships & Email Communications
When you join a Media Copilot membership, you provide your email so we can:
- Send occasional updates about webinars, deals on courses, and your monthly Q&A membership benefit.
- Deliver operational messages (receipts, account notices).
Legal basis: your consent (you can withdraw anytime). You can unsubscribe via the link in any email. We use reputable email service providers to send and measure these communications.
Webinars & Sponsored Events
If you register for a sponsored webinar, we share your registration details (name, email, and any other provided info) only with that webinar’s sponsor so they may contact you about products/services related to the topic. We do not share webinar data with other third parties. (This continues our current practice.)
Comments
If comments are enabled, we collect the data shown in the comment form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent to help detect spam. (We do not use Gravatar, and we do not send hashed emails to any avatar service.)
Media uploads
Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS); visitors may download and extract such data.
Cookies
We use cookies to operate the site (e.g., login persistence, preferences) and, if comments/editing are enabled, to remember your details. These may persist from one day to one year depending on purpose. You can control cookies in your browser.
Embedded content

Who we share your data with
